Mask Mandate Update
Governor Abbott announced that as of March 10, 2021 the Texas orders requiring masks to be worn in businesses and limiting business occupancy to below 100% will no longer be in effect. The new order allows businesses to determine whether they choose to require employees and patrons to mask and encourages personal responsibility for social distancing and face coverings.
Guadalupe Regional Medical Group will continue to follow CDC guidance and require masks for the protection of our patients and our healthcare workers. GRMG will continue to require that masks be worn by all staff and visitors within our facilities and will continue with current screening practices.
We have updated our Visitor Policy as of March 1st 2021
Ensuring our patients are receiving the highest quality of care is one element of what we do. We have seen this past year has been very difficult on essentially everybody from a social-emotional standpoint. Many times our patients are scared when they come to see us and even if they are not, they like to have somebody with them from a support standpoint. So as of March 1st, 2021 we will allow 1 visitor per patient.

- 1 visitor per patient will be allowed at the visit
- Patient and visitor will be required to perform the temperature screen upon entrance
- Patients and visitor will be required to complete the COVID screening
What can you do:
- Wear your personal face covering at all times
- Be open with our staff about symptoms so we can protect you, our staff and other individuals in our facilities
- Wash your hands or use hand sanitizer before entering our facility
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands
- Cough and sneeze into a tissue then throw it away
- Cough and sneeze into your upper shirt sleeve, completely covering your mouth and nose
- Wash your hands after coughing, sneezing, or blowing your nose.
